Hello Everyone, I’ve been very busy in my spare hours designing, printing and sewing for Beetroot Press’ new AW14 pieces. And most of them will be on show at an exhibition this May bank holiday weekend, at local gallery; Cock Harbour.
The gallery is set back down a country lane in South Littleton, near Evesham, held in two lovely old buildings. Usually view by appointment, owner and dealer Colin Bomford, puts on a show every year to invite people to come and browse and have a glass of fizz in a relaxing atmosphere.
I’ve added a few quick snaps I took on my phone to show you some of the new items. Hopefully I’ll have time to photograph properly at the exhibition. See below for new fox print; Sleepy Hollow which will be on cushions and canvas’, make up bags made from my prints and vintage fabrics, new tea towel and napkin designs. There will be lots of new things to see, all printed with water based inks and on sustainable fabrics.
At the exhibition, there will also be beautiful furniture, by Black Squared Furniture, a local business to Evesham, showcasing British furniture makers, who also offer bespoke services. See the link for their website: http://www.blacksquaredfurniture.co.uk/.
I realised I have a slight obsession with chairs, they do make other products but I unconsciously picked all chairs to show you…
I’m actually looking forward to having a bit of downtime to chat and relax after all this rush to screen print everything and then make into the pieces. I am planning to be there the whole time so please do come along to say hello and have a little lookie around.
